This is like the Voltron of Portland funk bands. The incomparable Ms Vee singing, the incredible Josh Maklusky singing and playing guitar, Anton Fuller on the throne, Wydgliff Dorlas on keys, Alan Smith on the bone, my man back from Japan Jeff will be on reeds, and yours truly holding down the bottom end. Rip City Fusion, featuring Grant Pierce on guitar, Ron Solomon on keys, Zach on drums and yours truly on the Jazz bass will do a set and be the house band for an evening of jazz and soul, featuring Paul Mazzio on trumpet, Holly Resnik on vocals and newcomer Xander Buck on sax. Tickets are 15/20 day of the show. Come check us out! Will be a great evening of music and conversation at the beautiful Alberta Abbey.
